Crystal Reports Exporter

Crystal Reports Exporter was given free since February of 2003. Since then, there were thousands of downloads from the web.
However, I did not tracked the amount of users or active users that actually using this tool but I got quite a number of responses from time to time. Some users were asking for the source code but I did not plan to give away my source code until November 2003.
On November 2003, I decided to make Crystal Reports Exporter open source, anybody who interested is invited to download the source code and enhance it according to your needs.
I personally find that this way of distributing reports is not going to be a permanent solution. I am stil receiving emails to ask me about Crystal Report Exporter. I didn't mean to disappoint you but I still have to say that I really don't want to look back and continue to "suppport" this tool.

Crystal Reports Exporter is written in C#.NET.

Crystal Reports Exporter is a open source 32bit Windows Console tool (a.k.a Command Line Tool) that enables user to export crystal reports® into specified format as such Adobe? Portable document format file, MS Word document or Excel file and etc.
Crystal Reports Exporter is leveraging on .NET technology. Therefore, you need .NET framework installed before installing Crystal Reports Exporter.

Since Crystal Reports Exporter is a Windows console program, you can run it using Windows "Scheduled Tasks". Therefore you can literately set up an unattended system to email crystal reports to any recipient at any specific time.
You can export crystal reports® into default Microsoft® email client such as Outlook®or Outlook®Express with specified email addresses. If you do not have above email client installed, just download a 3rd party SMTP (Simple Mail Transport Protocol) email program and send the exported crystal reports®as attachment.

1. Email statement of accounts to your customer- Use Crystal Reports®to design your statement of accounts that pulls current month transactions for a particular customer. You can then create new job in Windows "scheduled tasks" to run Crystal Reports Exporter to export the statement of accounts into PDF format and email him/her using any 3rd party smtp email software every monthly or weekly. 
   
   
2. Send inventory Reports to the manager/customer- If you are in-charge of inventory of a warehouse or store, You can design a daily stock on hand Reports and use Crystal Reports Exporter send it to the owner in daily basis.
   
   
3. Daily sales Reports for the management- Bosses need these information to help them to make decisions. Design a informative Reports that calculate the sales information by product categories and send it to your boss daily.
